Craving Dawn 'Til Midnight

If Patsy Cline were on the low-iodine diet, here’s what she would have done after midnight…

I go on craving, dawn 'til midnight
I almost can’t fight
These dietary blues
I’m always craving, dawn 'til midnight
Iodized foods

It seems like miles on down the hallway
Feels like my legs weigh
At least a ton or two
Because I’m hypo and it’s midnight
I’m searching for food

I long to eat a piece of pizza
And some chips and salsa
Maybe just one little cheat
But as the cravings hit me
Conscience whispers to me
“Don’t eat it, stay iodine-free.”

I go on raving, dawn 'til midnight
It’s hard to eat right, I’m hoping there will be
Something I’m craving, dawn 'til midnight
That’s iodine free
